Holocaust and Genocide Center offering fall programming

Please join 麻豆影视鈥檚 Holocaust and Genocide Center for informative and thought-provoking programming throughout the fall 2024 season. All events are free and open to all. The center sponsors speakers, workshops and conferences, as well as maintains a library of historical information, educational experiences and multimedia resources, for use by the college community and the public.

Description: Dr. Alex Kor presents 鈥淢y Holocaust Legacy: A Blessing, Not a Burden,鈥� based on his book of the same name. This is the story of Dr. Kor鈥檚 parents, Eva and Mickey Kor, their survival of Auschwitz, and their lives moving forward, including their influence on their son.

Description: Faris Cassell presents 鈥�Inseparable: The Hess Twins鈥� Holocaust Journey Through Bergen-Belsen to America.鈥� This award-winning book tells the survival story of the last living twin Holocaust survivors, in collaboration with the UMass Dartmouth History Department and Hillel.

Israel/Palestine: A Fishbowl Workshop
Description: 鈥淚srael/Palestine: A Fishbowl Workshop鈥� led by Leonard Mirra of Braver Angels, a nationwide group whose purpose is to bring together people on all sides of controversial issues, to work towards creating points of agreement (POA鈥檚) that can be shared by all participants.
